Processing time

Stock orders placed before 2:00 pm ET on a business day ship the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 pm ET, on weekends, or on US federal holidays ship the next business day.

Special-order and sourcing requests ship once the part is received, inspected, and graded in our Inkster warehouse — typically within 3–10 business days of order confirmation.

Carriers & methods

We ship via:

  • UPS — Ground, 3-Day Select, 2-Day Air, Next-Day Air
  • FedEx — Ground, Express Saver, 2-Day, Priority Overnight
  • USPS — Priority Mail (small parts only)
  • LTL freight — for large items (engines, transmissions, body panels) or pallet orders. We quote freight by the shipment.

Trade accounts may specify their own carrier and account number; we'll ship on your account when requested.

Transit estimates

Published transit times are provided by the carrier and do not include our processing time:

  • Midwest (MI, IL, IN, OH, KY) — Ground: 1–2 business days
  • East coast — Ground: 2–4 business days
  • West coast — Ground: 4–6 business days
  • Expedited — 1–3 business days nationwide
  • LTL freight — 3–7 business days continental US

We are not responsible for carrier delays due to weather, customs, labor disruptions, or force majeure events.

Shipping rates

Freight is calculated per shipment based on weight, dimensions, origin, destination, and selected service. Actual rates are shown on your quote before you accept the order.

Net-30 trade partners may opt into consolidated weekly shipping at a discounted blended rate. Ask the trade desk for details.

International & export

We export to select markets under written agreement. Export shipments include commercial invoice, packing list, and — where applicable — certificate of origin and hazardous-materials documentation.

The buyer of record is responsible for all duties, taxes, import permits, and customs clearance at the destination. Returns and warranty claims on export shipments are subject to additional terms negotiated at the account level.

Risk of loss

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all shipments leave our dock FOB Inkster, Michigan. Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer when the carrier takes possession of the goods.

We strongly recommend carrier insurance on shipments valued above $1,000. Standard carrier liability is limited and may not cover the replacement cost of auto parts.

Damaged shipments

If a shipment arrives visibly damaged:

  • Refuse the delivery or note damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing. This is critical for any claim.
  • Photograph the packaging and the part before moving it.
  • Email info@brightglorygenerall.com within 48 hours of delivery with order number and photos.

We'll coordinate with the carrier on a claim and, where appropriate, ship a replacement from our inventory while the claim is in progress.

Tracking

Tracking numbers are emailed to the address on your account the moment a label is generated. You can also view order status and tracking in your trade account portal.
